Hope that you have enjoyed your holiday and plan to return soon! to ensure a smooth departure, please note the following points:-
VACATING THE APARTMENT In accordance with international regulations, your apartment should be vacated by 10 am to allow for cleaning time for the next guests arrival. But if you are travelling on a late flight, and the next occupants of the apartment are arriving late I will try to organise the cleaning to be done later. If this is not possible Aremaser have a waiting room with changing and shower facilities for guests to use on change over days.
BEFORE YOU LEAVE All rubbish should be deposited in the roadside skips. Ensure that the gas bottle is switched off (no flame showing). Please leave the cooker, crockery and cutlery clean when you leave. Please bring the apartment key back to England with you and return to me as arranged.
THINK AHEAD Allow sufficient time for your return journey to Mahon airport, ensuring that you have pre-booked a taxi for at least 2 hours ahead of scheduled flight take off time. If you are returning by hire car, check the drop-off arrangements.
FLIGHT CONFIRMATION It is important to re-confirm your return flight arrangements a day or two before departure. You will find the telephone number of the appointed local agent on your flight itinerary letter. Bear in mind that charter flight times can be re-scheduled, and failure to check could result in major inconvenience and expense for yourselves and anyone meeting you at your UK destination airport.
LAST CHECK Before leaving the apartment, check that you have all your luggage, with passports and flight tickets handy. Any unwanted magazines can be left in the top drawer of the unit, and any food or toiletries can be left in the apartment for the cleaners, no other gratuity is expected, but may be left at your discretion.
MAHON AIRPORT There is a souvenir shop, newsagent, bars and restaurant at the airport. The duty free shop is usually very well stocked and generally the prices are very competitive, and better than the duty free shop's in the UK or on board the aircraft, but purchases are limited to your allowance back into the UK. A cash dispenser accepting most major credit cards is situated in the arrivals area, otherwise no banking or money exchange facilities are available.
